Barrett Finishes Tied For 19th At Bettie Lou Evans Invitational

LEXINGTON, Ky. – Hannah Barrett posted her third Top 20 finish of the young season shooting a 1-over par 217 at the Bettie Lou Evans Invitational. The two-day, 54-hole event was being held at University Club of Kentucky (par-72; 6,291 yards).

Barrett, a transfer from the University of West Georgia, shot rounds of 72, 69 and 76 which included nine birdies, eight bogeys, one double bogey and 36 pars. Lisa Forss finished tied for 30th with a score of 220 (4-over), followed by Nicole Nash tied for 34th with a score of 223. (7-over), Louise Krawiec tied for 44^th at 227 (11-over) and Hallie Wilson tied for 48th at 228 (12-over).

Host Kentucky won the team title with a 25-under par score of 839 followed by Penn State in second at. 14-under (850). Rounding out the Top 5 were California (863/1-under) and Indiana (863/1-under) tied for third and Lipscomb at 871 (7-over) in fifth. ECU finished in eight after shooting a 21-over par 885 that consisted of rounds of 293, 293 and 299.

The Pirates return to action on Sunday, Oct. 4 when they participate in the Mercedes Benz Invitational. The three-day, 54-hole event will be played at the Cherokee Country Club in Knoxville, Tenn.
