
ECU Claims 2026 Ironwood Collegiate Classic Title

GREENVILLE, N.C. – For the fourth time in the last five years, the East Carolina men's golf team won the Ironwood Collegiate Classic team title after shooting a final round score of 280 (8-under) on Tuesday. The two-day 54-hole event is being held at Ironwood Golf and Country Club (par 72, 7,120 yards).

Heading into final round action, the Pirates who were tied for fifth place, erased an 11-shot lead held by Georgetown finishing two shots (857/7-under) ahead of the Hoyas (859/5-under). Old Dominion and High Point finished tied for third with a score of 861 (3-under), while Charleston Southern rounded out the Top 5 with a score of 863 (1-under).

Nathan O'Neal paced the Pirates shooting a 3-under par 213 (71-74-68) finishing tied for 13th. Holden Rucker finished one shot behind at 214 (2-under/t16) with rounds of 72, 72 and 70, while Luke Mosley was 1-under at 215 (71-75-69) for a share of 18th. Rounding out the Pirates starters were Oscar Crowe (72-72-73=217) at 1-over for a share of 26th and Drew O'Neal (73-73-74=220) at 4-over with a share of 38th.

Playing as individuals for East Carolina were Adam Lennermark who shot a 3-over par 219 (73-73-73) finishing tied for 31st, followed by Jackson Bryce with a 5-over 221 (76-76-75) with a share of 45th. Josh Davies (77-71-75) and Lane Wilson (72-78-73) carded final rounds of 223 (7-over) for a share of 55th.

ECU returns to action on Monday, Oct. 19 when it participates in the Bank of Tennessee Collegiate. The two-day, 54-hole event will be played in Jonesborough, Tenn. at the Blackhorn Club.
