2015 (North Carolina): Missed the entire campaign because of a left Achilles injury (and was redshirted) … Opened fall camp vying for a starting assignment at guard.

2014 (North Carolina): Experienced action in all 13 games and made two starts … Opened contests against Liberty and San Diego State, both resulting in wins for the Tar Heels … Made first career start against Flames in the season opener, playing 60 snaps and posting six knockdown blocks to help UNC rack up a season-high 56 points … Posted six more knockdowns against the Aztecs in week two … Also played on special teams squad.

2013 (North Carolina): Appeared in 10 tilts on the offensive line and on special teams … Graded out at 88 percent against Old Dominion … Made his first appearance as a Tar Heel against Middle Tennessee, recording two knockdown blocks in five snaps … Signed with North Carolina in May.
