A gifted pass defender who could finally be in a position to garner conference honors candidacy consideration as a senior if he can remain healthy ⦠Experienced significant action as true freshman, sophomore and junior in 2015, 2016 and 2017, respectively, but also was limited by injuries ⦠Overall, has played in 25 career contests (11 starts) and been credited with 58 tackles (41 solo), 14 pass breakups and one interception ⦠Has produced at least one stop in 18 outings ⦠Penciled in as the Piratesā top field cornerback to open the 2018 campaign ⦠Brings plenty of physical attributes to the secondary, including speed, quickness, lateral movement and acceleration ability ⦠Officially enrolled early at ECU in January of 2015, thus has had four spring practice periods to promote and enhance development ⦠Did not record any defensive statistics in the first spring scrimmage (March 17), but netted two stops during the Purple-Gold Game (March 24).
