Paint it Purple Fridays
Let everyone in your community know that "We are the Pirates of ECU!" Show your East Carolina spirit by wearing purple (shirt, hat, sweater, tie etc.) every Friday to work, school and social activities. Also, remember to proudly wear your purple and gold on game days to show your support for your university and cheer for your Pirate teams.
Also, let your ECU pride be seen by displaying East Carolina house/garden flags and car flags where ever you go on Fridays and game days through-out the athletics season. Businesses can show their ECU spirit by encouraging employees to wear purple and gold on Fridays before home games.Â
