Bate Foundation Track & Field Facility
Completed during the summer of 2011, Minges Family Field at the Bate Foundation Track & Field Facility provides ECU's track and field athletes a first-class venue in which to practice and hone their skills.
Clark-LeClair Stadium
Built in 2004, Lewis Field at Clark-LeClair Stadium, which arguably rates as one of the top collegiate baseball facilities in the nation, is the home of the East Carolina baseball team. With 3,000 permanent seats and additional space for 2,000 spectators along the outfield wall, the Pirate fans create a definitive home field advantage.
Cliff Moore Practice Facility
The refurbished facility now sports two regulation length natural Bermuda Tift grass game fields, which run parallel in a north-south direction. A third field, which features a 78,120 square-foot Prestige XT Synthetic (i.e. FieldTurf) playing surface, lies perpendicular to the pair of natural grass grids.
Dowdy-Ficklen Stadium
Consistently ranked among the top non-Power 5 schools in attendance, Dowdy-Ficklen Stadium is home to an exceptionally passionate and loyal fanbase that paints the stands purple and gold six times each fall. ECU has won nearly 67 percent of its games here since it opened in 1963.
Ironwood Golf and Country Club
Ironwood Golf and Country Club serves as the home course of the ECU men's and women's golf teams. In addition to access to the course, the Pirates' practice facility is housed at the club complete with chipping green, putting green and indoor hitting bays.
Minges Natatorium
East Carolina University's Minges Natatorium, located inside Minges Coliseum, serves as the home for all Pirate swimming and diving activities. Minges Natatorium is an eight-lane 25-yard facility with a separate 20-yard diving well.
Murphy Center
Just beyond the end zone of Dowdy-Ficklen Stadium, an imposing figure fills the skyline. The Murphy Center, a 52,475-square-foot edifice, houses the strength and conditioning facilities for the ECU athletics program, along with banquet rooms, sport memorabilia, and an academic enhancement center.
Overton's Lake Kristi
Located eight miles from Greenville, Lake Kristi serves as the home course for the East Carolina men's and women's cross country teams. The course has been the home to numerous cross country meets throughout the years, including four NCAA Regionals and a pair of Conference USA Championship meets.
Smith-Williams Center
The Smith-Williams Center, which is structurally connected to Minges Coliseum, is the headquarters for the men's and women's basketball programs, providing them with a state-of-the-art venue in which to practice, train and condition.
Stewart Johnson Soccer Stadium
The stadium hosted its first game in 2011 and was officially named and dedicated in 2014. It features a 1,000-seat capacity, including 192 chair back seats and numerous added fan amenities, including concession stands and restrooms with a video board and state of the art sound system.
Ward Sports Medicine Building
The three-story structures houses athletic administration offices as well as Pirate Club and football office. The Pirate football locker room and meeting rooms along with the primary athletic training facilities are located on the first floor.
Williams Arena at Minges Coliseum
Williams Arena at Minges Coliseum serves as the game day home for the ECU men's basketball, women's basketball and volleyball teams. The entire lower bowl is dedicated to the ECU student body, giving the Pirates an inimitable advantage.
ECU Indoor Tennis Facility
The 22,000-square-foot venue, which was designed exclusively for use by the Pirate tennis programs and meets all of the standards set by the Intercollegiate Tennis Association, features an acrylic-based durable hard-court surface covering three courts, indirect lighting and movable screens separating each playing surface.
ECU Softball Stadium
A new era began for Pirate softball in 2011 with the opening of the ECU Softball Stadium on the same ground as the previous field once stood. The stadium has a seating capacity of 1,000 with 200 purple chairback seats located directly behind home plate and 800 bleacher seats that stretch along each baseline.
