Rebecca Wade has been an academic coordinator in East Carolina University's student development offices in the athletics department since her arrival in March of 2015.

Wade serves as an academic advisor for student-athletes, monitors their progress and success rates in the classroom, handles class registration, assists with study hall hours and tracks NCAA eligibility.
Wade began her tenure at ECU as a student worker in the athletics ticket office from 2005-08, before becoming a student development graduate assistant for the 2007-08 year. She also spent one year as a sports marketing assistant from 2009-10, before joining the office of undergraduate admissions as an admissions counselor from 2010-15.
A Mooresville, N.C., native, Wade earned a bachelor's degree in marketing at East Carolina in 2006 before completing her MBA with a concentration in sport management at her alma mater in 2010.
She married her husband Tommy in June of 2012 and the couple resides in Winterville, N.C.
