Projected starting center heading into 2022 season opener … Appeared in 22 career games making 19 starts (1/2019, 8/2020, 11/2021) … Since joining East Carolina in the summer of 2020 (North Carolina transfer), he has helped provide running lanes for 10 100-yard rushing efforts (5/’20, 5/’21) … In games played for the Pirates he has been part of 11 contests with 400-plus yards of total offense (5/’20, 6/’21) … Named a 2022 Preseason Third-Team All-American Athletic Conference pick by Phil Steele’s Football Preview.
