Will again serve as the program’s exclusive long snapper after handling role in an exemplary and reliable fashion since his true freshman campaign (2016) … A conference honors candidate who offers consistency, delivery accuracy and blocking strength … Has played in all 36 games since arrival in the ECU program … Made commitment during the 2018 offseason to bolster frame through the strength and conditioning program and successfully gained nearly 25 pounds of growth (was listed at an undersized 208 as a freshman and sophomore) … Initially earned a roster position as an invited walk-on during the summer of 2016.

2018: Played in all 12 games as ECU’s No. 1 deep snapping specialist …Made 84 deliveries, teaming primarily with starting punter Jonn Young … Suffered only one block (USF) … Helped Young compile a 40.5 average (71-2,875), land 13 inside the 20-yard line and get off six boots that traveled 50-plus yards, which included a season-long of 52 against Temple and NC State … Made 12 successful snaps to back-up Jake Verity when he was pressed into action at Tulane (36.0 ypp, five inside the 20) … Credited with only tackle vs. Memphis on punt return.

2017: Experienced action in 12 contests as the Pirates top deep snapper … Was perfect on 53 punt snaps without a block … Teamed with Austin Barnes, who stood 21^st nationally in punting with a 44.0 average (50-2,200) … Part of 17 boots that traveled 50-plus yards, 16 which landed inside the 20-yard line, 15 that were fair catches and six touchbacks … Also helped ease the transition during Verity’s one-game punting stint (3-112, 37.3 average at Memphis) … Posted only special teams tackle vs. Virginia Tech on a punt return.

2016: Immediately assumed top long snapping duties upon arrival and played in all 12 games … Delivered 52 snaps with only one block (Virginia Tech) … Teamed with punter Worth Gregory for a 42.3 average on 51 boots (2,159 yards) … Helped unit plant 15 punts inside the 20-yard line, was part of nine kicks that exceeded 50 yards in length and 17 more which were fielded as a fair catch … Credited with one tackle after making solo hit at Cincinnati.
