Should provide offensive line and various special teams squads with quality depth ⦠Expected to compete for two-deep inclusion at one of the tackle slots ⦠A savvy veteran who brings plenty of practice repetitions to the unit, but has limited collegiate snaps ⦠Joined ECU program prior to the 2014 campaign after spending first two seasons at Division II member Elizabeth City State ⦠Spring strength and conditioning testing produced a 380-pound bench press, 23 reps of 225 (bench), 540-pound back squat and a 48ā shot put.
2015: Participated in four games as a reserve offensive lineman and special teams contributor ⦠Sat out the first eight contests, but experienced action in last four ā Connecticut, USF, UCF and Cincinnati ⦠Did not record any statistics.
2014: Earned initial roster position at East Carolina prior to the start of the season ⦠Contributed efforts on scout team, but did not play on game-days ⦠Transferred into Pirate program during the late summer, thus did not engage in spring drills.
2012-13 (Elizabeth City State): Experienced limited duty during his first two seasons of collegiate football ... Helped Vikings to a 4-6 record, a 30.9 scoring average and a 413.5 total yards per game average in 2013 ⦠Helped ECSU to Pioneer Bowl championship in 2012.
High School: A two-way player as an offensive and defensive lineman at Herford County High School ⦠Led Bears to three-straight playoff appearances, including a third-round finish as a sophomore in 2009 ⦠Earned all-conference honors and was named to the All-Roanoke squad as a senior (offense) and junior (defense) ⦠Selected to play in the 2012 North Carolina Coaches Association East-West All-Star Football Game in Greensboro ⦠Served as president of the Beta Club and FBLA, while graduating seventh in his class.
