Hopes to bounce back into a contributing role after experiencing limited action (injuries, coaching decisions) during his first year in the ECU program … Will open preseason camp vying for a position on the two-deep at one of the tackle slots … In addition to depth enhancement on defense, could serve role on special teams … Was not credited with any statistics during both spring scrimmages … A resilient performer who has a history of perseverance dealing with football-related adversity.
2017: Played in just one game (Virginia Tech) and did not record any defensive statistics … Suffered through nagging injuries and struggled to adjust to evolving defensive coaching staff (schematic) philosophies … Was a spring addition to the Pirates’ signing class.
Junior College: A mainstay on the defensive line for coach Bert Williams and a Georgia Military College program that posted a 9-2 record and reached as high as No. 10 in the NJCAA poll during the 2016 season ...
