Used developmental year and a strong spring to earn inclusion on East Carolina’s preseason two-deep as a top reserve at one of the cornerback slots behind all-league performer Ja’Quan McMillian … Should also gain valuable repetitions as a member of various special teams squads … Has benefitted from the Pirates’ strength and conditioning program with the addition of 20-plus pounds since enrolling at ECU … Booked a pair of tackles in each of the two spring scrimmages (April 17, April 24).
2020: Did not experience game-day action as a true freshman (redshirted) but was lauded by coaching staff for efforts on scout team … Signed with the Pirates on Dec. 18, 2019.
