Allen Gaudet, IV joined the East Carolina University staff on April 19 as director of football scouting.

Prior to his arrival in Greenville, Gaudet spent a total of four seasons in the Southeastern Conference most recently serving as a player personnel assistant at Texas A&M beginning in 2018.

He was part of an Aggies program that captured three-straight bowl championships, which included an overall 9-1 mark and a win over North Carolina in the Capital One Orange Bowl to cap the 2020 campaign. While on Coach Jimbo Fisher's staff, Gaudet played key roles in both the recruiting and positional preparation areas working with coaches on weekly prospect reports and evaluations, along with providing advanced scouting data on Texas A&M opponents throughout the season. Additionally, he directly assisted offensive line coach Josh Henson and aided in all aspects of the team's official, unofficial and Zoom recruiting visits.

Gaudet was a recruiting and player personnel assistant at alma mater LSU for nine months, initially earning the position as an undergraduate student in May, 2017. He helped build prospect reports, managed commitment statuses and prepped coaching staff members for recruiting visits among his other responsibilities while with the Tigers.

His stint at LSU was preceded by an in-season public relations internship with the New Orleans Saints in 2016.

In addition to his recent on-campus support role(s), Gaudet has served as content creator and talent evaluator for 33rd Team since 2019 where he has worked alongside current ESPNÂ NFL Front Office Insider Mike Tannenbaum assisting with social media content, draft evaluations and Senior Bowl coverage.

Gaudet earned a bachelor's degree in education as a sports administration and commerce major from LSU in 2017.
