Kate Shealy is in her third year as a football administrative associate at East Carolina University after joining the Pirates' staff in March, 2019.

Shealy currently assists with budget/fiscal management and provides direct clerical and recruiting-related travel support for the assistant coaching staff. She additionally serves as a key ancillary aide in all the program's operational facets, which includes the coordination of home and road game logistics such as meals and facility preparation to name a few.

Before her appointment at ECU, Shealy most recently served as a game day events manager for the division of student affairs at Clemson during the 2018 football season which followed successive summer stints as an administrative staff assistant for both the Tigers' player development efforts and Dabo Swinney camps.

Shealy earned her bachelor's degree in kinesiology/sports management from Houston Baptist in May, 2018. She spent four years assisting the Huskies football staff with recruiting and operations support as an undergraduate beginning in 2014 under her father Vic, who was named HBU's first-ever head coach two years earlier.
