Sean Hollister was named director of football video operations at East Carolina University on July 28, 2021.

In his current leadership role with the Pirates, he handles video editing and film organization for ECU’s football program, while also producing recruiting tapes, overseeing game and practice coverage, and managing a full staff of student assistants.

Prior to his arrival in Greenville, Hollister spent two seasons in professional football in similar video roles. He most recently served as assistant video director for the Dallas Renegades of the XFL after a five-month stint as video director for the Salt Lake Stallions of the Alliance of American Football (AAF).

Hollister was director of video services for the men's and women's basketball programs at the University of Louisiana-Monroe in 2017-18 which followed a 10-plus-year run as video director for the Big 12 Conference. While in Irving from 2006 to 2016, he worked closely with the coordinator of football officials (Big 12, Mountain West, Southland), was responsible for the breakdown of coaches' video, television and replays, set-up networks for officiating camps and clinics, and assisted with streaming activities such as league championship press conferences and various media day events.

In addition to an initial position at ULM during the 2005-2006 season, Hollister also held video coordinator roles at Arizona (2001-04) and Baylor (1997-2001).

Hollister earned a bachelor's degree in radio/tv production from Northeast Louisiana Technical College-Delta Ouachita Campus in 1987.
