Brooks Award (superior academic achievement) for two years in a row ... 2008: Experienced action in all 14 contests as the program[apos]s steady and reliable holder for the second consecutive season ... Successfully placed ball for a pair of overtime game-winning field goals (UCF and Marshall) and a deciding 34-yard Ben Hartman three-pointer at Tulsa with 1:43 to play that earned the Pirates a Conference USA title ... Integral part of kicking team that established a new school single-season records for field goals made (22) and attempted (35), and a single-game standard for field goals made (four vs. Marshall and UTEP) ... Also held on all 37 extra-point attempts (34 made) ... In all, had 10 holds against Miners in regular season finale - six PATs (5-of-6) and four FGs (4-of-4).

2007: Played in all 13 games as the special teams unit[apos]s top holder ... Played critical role on holds in two time-expiring, game-winning field goals (vs. North Carolina, vs. Boise State in Sheraton Hawai[apos]i Bowl) and was an integral part of a perfect 50-of-50 PAT tandem ... Also took snaps as a quarterback during ECU[apos]s 41-6 Conference USA win over UAB at Dowdy-Ficklen Stadium ... Completed only pass attempt for five yards to Javon Brumsey.

2006: Member of program but did not experience game-day action ... Considered a valuable scout team performer.
