Will open his second campaign on ECU’s active roster listed as a reserve at nickelback behind Tim Irvin and Devon Sutton … Expected to be a consistent contributor on special teams to gain additional game-day repetitions as a sophomore … Turned in another solid spring, picking up two tackles during the first scrimmage on March 17 … Collected three more stops in the Purple-Gold Game (March 24) … Continues to benefit from work in strength and conditioning program with the addition of nearly 30 pounds (from signing day weight).

2016: Redshirted as a true freshman … Spent fall on Pirates’ developmental roster and helped prepare offensive unit on a weekly basis as a member of the scout squad … Part of head coach Scottie Montgomery’s initial ECU signing class.
High School: Helped lead Southern Guilford High School to a 2015 North Carolina High School Athletic Association (NCHSAA) State Playoff Class 3A (third round) appearance as the Storm’s leading receiver with 730 yards and eight touchdowns on 35 catches … Stood second on team with 1,089 all-purpose yards and finished third in scoring with 54 points … Contest of note as a senior was a six-reception, 145-yard and two-TD effort against Fike HS … Competed at Hopewell High School in Huntersville (N.C.) as a junior, catching seven passes for 182 yards and one touchdown … Also returned 11 kickoffs for 275 yards and one score in 2014 … Defensively, credited with 68 tackles – two resulting in lost yardage – for HHS … Recorded 25 receptions for 398 yards and a TD as a sophomore at Southern Guilford … Had five receptions for 148 yards, including a 78-yarder for a score, during the Storms’ 17-14 victory over Asheboro HS in 2013 … Ranked among the top 60 overall recruits in the state of North Carolina according to ESPN.com … Also recruited by Army and Old Dominion before officially committing to ECU on June 24, 2015.
