Poised to take the next significant step in career, moving from a backup offensive lineman and special teams contributor to a full-time starter and potential conference honors candidate ⦠Projected as the Piratesā starting right tackle to open the 2019 campaign ⦠Despite having a different position coach each year (Geep Wade/2017, Don Mahoney/2018, Steve Shankweiler/2019), appears to have acclimated to the current offensive scheme quickly and offers ample strength and athleticism up front ⦠Signed with ECU as an early enrollee in 2017, thus has three full spring workout periods on his collegiate resume.
2018: Appeared in eight (8) games as a redshirt freshman, both as a reserve on the offensive line and as a special teams performer ⦠Played in contests against North Carolina A&T, North Carolina, USF, Temple, UCF, Memphis, Connecticut and Cincinnati ⦠Did not experience action vs. Old Dominion, Houston, Tulane and NC State ⦠Participated in snaps during ECUās top three offensive performances of the season - 510 vs. the Tar Heels, 556 vs. the Tigers and 657 vs. the Huskies ⦠Outing against UConn at Dowdy-Ficklen Stadium also included season-bests in points (55), rushing yards (415) and first downs (34) ⦠Also part of two individual 100-yard rushing performances and three 300-yard passing efforts ⦠Blocked for a unit that stood 20th nationally in passing yards per game (284.8) ⦠Opened campaign as the top backup to Garrett McGhin at right tackle.

High School: A team captain and four-year letterman for coach Guy (Bubba) Williams at Corinth Holders ⦠Played on both lines of scrimmage during prep career ⦠Earned all-conference honors as a senior and was named the leagueās lineman-of-the-year for both offense and defense ⦠Defensively, was credited with 18 total tackles ⦠Recorded 7.0 sacks that resulted in a loss of 40 yards ⦠Helped lead Pirates, who also wore purple and gold, to conference titles as a freshman and sophomore before guiding squad to 9-3 mark in 2015 during junior campaign ⦠Earned one track letter (shot put) ⦠Prep coach (also nicknamed "Chipper") was a deep snapper at ECU, lettering under Steve Logan in 2001 ⦠Committed to ECU in June, 2016 after attending programās elite camp on campus ⦠Also recruited by Charlotte.
