2013: Initially earned roster position as a walk-on in the fall … Redshirted during first year in program.
High School: A two-year letterman and team captain for coach Tim Carter at South Central High School … Was Falcon’s leading tackler as a junior and senior … An all-conference selection and defensive MVP during senior year … Topped SCHS in defensive TDs (three), picked off three passes (returning two for scores), recovered four fumbles (returning one for a TD) and forced six more in 2012 … Was an honorable mention all-league pick in 2011, adding another ball strip to a team-high tackle total … Also earned four letters as a track standout.
