Lauren Collier enters her 4th year with the Pirates, and is responsible for designing and implementing yearly training programs for Pirate Women’s basketball, softball, and track & field.
Collier served as a strength and conditioning assistant at the University of Florida for two seasons, prior to being named assistant strength and conditioning coach at ECU in September 2018.
Collier served as a strength and conditioning assistant for the Gators from August 2016 until August 2018 where she assisted with implementing workouts for volleyball, track and field as well as swimming and diving.
Prior to joining the strength and conditioning staff at Florida, Collier spent two seasons as a graduate assistant for the Gators’ softball program. She aided in daily practice plans and implementation, keeping charts during games and travel operations. She helped guide the team to the 2017 Women’s College World Series.
Collier previously served as a game operations assistant at her alma mater, Furman University, during the 2014-15 academic year.
She was a four-year letterwinner for the Paladins’ softball team from 2010 to 2014, garnering First-Team All-Southern Conference honors in 2013 as a utility player. She was also selected second-team all-conference as a pitcher as a junior and senior, serving a team captain and winning MVP honors each year.
She received her bachelor’s degree in health and exercise science from Furman University in 2014 then earned a master’s degree from the University of Florida in applied physiology and kinesiology in 2017. She is a certified strength and conditioning specialist.
