Competed just once during the indoor venues, earning a ninth-place finish in the 35-pound weight throw at the season-opening Virginia Tech Invitational (career-best 15.90 meters) ... Picked up All-Conference USA honors after a second-place standing with a personal-record 58.25-meter hammer throw at the C-USA Outdoor Championships in Houston ... In addition to his success at the conference finals, met NCAA Regional qualification minimums in the hammer event on three other occasions (55.63 meters) ... Recorded tosses of 55.96 (Sea Ray Relays/6th), 55.65 (Charlotte Invitational/5th) and 55.63 (Penn Relays/13th).
