Shanna Wentzler was named assistant director of ticket operations at East Carolina University in February of 2015.
Wentzler assists with all Pirate Athletics ticket operations, supervises student employees and specializes in event management and customer service.
Prior to her arrival at ECU, Wentzler served as a graduate assistant in Georgia Tech's athletic ticket office where she managed the box office operations for baseball, volleyball and women's basketball events. Her experience also includes internships as a team operations intern for the Atlanta Silverbacks, the North Gwinnett High Soccer Club and Valdosta State University's sports information department. She also spent nearly two years as an account coordinator at Allison & Partners.
A Duluth, Ga., native, Wentzler earned a bachelor's degree in speech communication with an emphasis on public relations at Valdosta State in 2010 and completed her master's degree in sport administration from Georgia State in May 2015.
