Allison Kraus-Saravia was hired as an assistant athletic trainer at East Carolina University in July 2023, working primarily with the Football and Cheer teams.

Prior to joining the Pirates, Allison served one year as an intern athletic trainer working primarily with the SMU Football, Rowing, and Cheer teams. Additionally, she served one year at UT Chattanooga with the Cross Country & Track teams along with assisting with the football team.

A California native, Allison earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Exercise Science from California Lutheran University in May 2019. She then completed a Master of Science in Athletic Training from Texas A&M University in May 2021. Allison is a certified athletic trainer, licensed through the North Carolina Board of Athletic Training Examiners. She is a member of the National Athletic Trainers’ Association (NATA) and North Carolina Athletic Trainers’ Association (NCATA). She holds a certification in Dry Needling and her Performance Enhancement Specialist certification.
