Austin Trevino is in his first year as an assistant director of operations at East Carolina, a position he officially began on March 16, 2026.

Prior to his promotion, Trevino served as and operations assistant from August of 2023 until March of 2026.

In his time on staff at ECU, Austin has served as primary game manager for various sports including men’s and women’s basketball, softball, lacrosse, and soccer, while also contributing to game management with football, baseball, track and cross country. He has also worked in the preparation and operation of numerous external events, hosted at ECU.

A native from Allentown, Pa., Trevino moved to Greenville in 2019 and attended High Point University where he graduated in 2023 with a bachelor’s degree in sports management. During his four years at High Point, he dedicated most of his time as a manager of the men’s basketball team where he assisted in practice preparation and function, practice/game film editing, team travel, and various in-game duties.
