Brian O'Hara serves as assistant director and lead football academic coordinator within the East Carolina University Student Development Office.
Since his arrival on the ECU campus in September of 2008, he has worked exclusively with the Pirate football program in many academic-related capacities. In addition to communicating and overseeing all facets of continuing eligibility efforts, O'Hara provides advisement and counsel for time management, life skills, career and social development.
Prior to accepting a position on the East Carolina staff, O'Hara was an academic counselor and lab monitor at alma mater Florida Atlantic for seven years where he worked with the baseball, football, men's basketball, men's golf, women's basketball and women's volleyball programs.
He received his bachelor's degree in criminal justice from FAU before earning status as a Certified Webmaster from the Boca Raton institution.
