Drew Steele was named an assistant director of operations in the East Carolina University Athletics Department in August 2021 after working as a student assistant in the division for three years while pursuing his undergraduate degree.

Steele will assist with the management, maintenance and supervision of the day-to-day readiness of all the athletics buildings, as it pertains to the staging of athletics and university events for the ECU Athletics Department.

A native of Greenville, Steele graduated from ECU in 2021 with his bachelor’s degree in recreation and park management.
