Gwyn Smith joined ECU Athletics as the insurance coordinator for the athletic training department in August of 2015.
Smith has been an administrative support specialist for East Carolina University Student Health Services since August of 1993, where she handled the scheduling of patient referrals with outside specialists, scanned patient records and gathered insurance authorizations for referrals.
A native of Hookerton, N.C., Smith earned an associate’s degree from Pitt Community College in 1992.
