Kyle Gaskins is in his eighth year working with the East Carolina University video department where he currently serves as the Pirate Video Producer, a position he began in August of 2024. Prior to his promotion, Gaskins worked as an assistant director of video operations for three years.

Prior to being promoted to the assistant director role, Gaskins worked directly with the Pirates' football program for two seasons.

Gaskins served as a senior student assistant during the 2016 and 2017 seasons and was tasked with management responsibilities of the unit’s undergraduate staffers for practice and game day assignments, while also playing a pivotal role coordinating technical logistics at all ECU road headquarter locations. He joined the Pirates’ video team as a sophomore in 2015.

In addition to his earlier football duties, Gaskins also provided ancillary support for men and women’s basketball as a production assistant and as a videoboard operations associate at Clark-LeClair Stadium during baseball season which paved the way for his new 2021 assignment.

The New Bern (N.C.) native earned his bachelor’s degree in communications from ECU in 2017.
