Â
In addition to assisting Pirate Video, Myles worked with ESPN, CBS Sports Network, FOX and Comcast as a freelance director, camera, tape and EVS operator for live home events. Outside of Greenville, his services were also contracted for the ACC and other conferences spanning a three-state area that included South Carolina and Virginia.
Â
His acceptance of the athletics position ended a 23-year tenure as producer and director for ECU's Brody School of Medicine where he handled shooting, editing and producing medically oriented videos while working with physicians and other health care professionals.
Â
Prior to his on-campus appointment, Myles spent eight years in various promotional, writing, production and master control roles at WYED-TV and WNCN-TV in the Triangle.

His leadership, creative contributions to BSOM and proficiency with a multitude of broadcast, editing, animation/imaging and software programs and applications has enabled frequent recognition in his field - the latest as the recipient of the 41st Annual Telly Award in the general education category for the ECU Laupus Library VR Lab in 2020.
