Noah Howell was hired as an assistant athletic trainer for the Track and Field/Cross Country program in May of 2025.

Prior to ECU he worked with Middle and High School athletes at Germantown Friends School, a private K-12 Quaker School in Philadelphia. Howell also worked as part of the medical staff for the Penn Relays during his time in Philadelphia.

He earned his master's degree in athletic training from Temple University in Philadelphia, PA. During that time, he gained clinical experience with GFS, the Shipley School, UNCW Women's Volleyball, Arcadia University, Temple University Men's Basketball, and the University of Pennsylvania Men's and Women's Track and Field teams.

Prior to this, he earned his B.S. in Health and Exercise Science at Bridgewater College in Virginia. While at Bridgewater he competed for the Cross Country and Track and Field programs. He is a member of the National Athletic Training Association (NATA) and the Eastern Athletic Training Association (EATA).
