Stacia Hazboun, a native of Eastern North Carolina, was named Assistant Director of Ticket Services at East Carolina on July 28, 2025.
A two-time graduate from East Carolina, she earned her bachelor’s degree in sports studies with a minor in business administration in December 2023, where she was recognized as the department’s Outstanding Graduate. Hazboun went on to complete her master’s degree in recreation sciences/sport management in May 2025.
During her time at ECU, Hazboun gained valuable hands-on experience through several internships, including serving as an operations intern with ECU Athletics and as a Carolina Athletic Hospitality FANgineer at UNC. She also worked as a mentor for student-athletes in the ECU Student-Athlete Academic Services Center, in addition to holding roles as a graduate research assistant and teaching assistant.
Passionate about supporting athletes on and off the field, she has volunteered with the Pitt County Special Olympics, the N.C. Senior Basketball Games, and the Women’s Basketball Final Four in Tampa.
