Men's and Women's Tennis Both Fall at Hampton

The men's team is now 8-10 overall while the women are 13-6.
In the men's contest, Hampton grabbed the doubles point by sweeping all three matches. ECU was able to obtain its two points by virtue of singles wins by Charl Meyer at flight two and Felipe Fonseca at flight five.
The ECU women won one of the three doubles matches -- at flight one where Lyndall Jordan and Raluca Baicu picked up the victory. However, the Lady Pirates were unable to gain a singles victory in the first four flights. The last two flights were not played.
Both teams return home to face Barton College on Tuesday at 3 p.m. at the ECU Tennis Complex.
