
Brackets Set For 2004 BCA Invitational

Princeton, N.J. --- The Gazelle Group is pleased to announce the field for the 2004 Black Coaches Association (BCA) Invitational men's college basketball tournament. NC State, will host the eight-team tournament on November 17-19, 2004, at the RBC Center in Raleigh.
East Carolina will face Pepperdine in the opening round and face either Oregon state or Sienna on day two of the event.
Among the match-ups for this year's tournament: Game One features East Carolina, coached by Bill Herrion and runner-up to NC State in the 2001 BCA Invitational, going against Pepperdine, coached by Paul Westphal. The winner of the tournament's opener will face the winner of Game Two, in which Oregon State battles Sienna.
In the other bracket, Game Three features the NC State Wolfpack, who reached the second round of the NCAA tournament, securing their third straight tournament appearance and finishing the year ranked 20th in the final coaches poll, against New Orleans, coached by former Wolfpack All-American Monte Tow. The winner of that game will take on the winner of the Elon-Fairleigh Dickinson game.
