Pirate Baseball Adds Elon To 2007 Schedule

GREENVILLE, N.C. - East Carolina Head Baseball Coach Billy Godwin announced Thursday that the Pirates have added Elon University to the 2007 schedule to complete their 56-game season.
The game, which will be played on Tuesday May 15 at 7 p.m. at Clark-LeClair Stadium, was added to compensate for the loss of the Mar. 16 game between ECU and Michigan due to inclement weather.
ECU (22-12) is coming off a 3-2 road win over in-state rival UNC Wilmington Wednesday night and will continue on the road this weekend when it travels to Charleston, WVa. to face Conference USA foe Marshall at Appalachian Power Park. First pitch for Friday and Saturday is scheduled for 7 p.m. (EDT), while Sunday's contest will begin at noon (EDT).
