Coyne Named C-USA Diver-of-the-Week

IRVING, Texas --- East Carolina freshman Meghan Coyne has been named Conference USA Diver-of-the-Week according to an announcement from the league office.

Coyne recorded a pair of top-eight finishes at the Gamecock Invitational and recorded an NCAA Zone qualifying score on the one-meter board (272.85). On the three-meter board, the freshman diver scored 268.85, good for a fifth-place finish. The weekly honor is the first of Coyne's career.

Coyne is the second Pirate diver to earn the weekly accolade this season as her classmate Katie Yamamoto received the award earlier this season.
