Pirate Baseball Season Opener Postponed

COLUMBIA, S.C. - The season opening baseball game between No. 24 East Carolina and No. 2 South Carolina scheduled for Friday, Feb. 22 at 3 p.m. in Sarge Fry Field has been postponed due to inclement weather and more rain is in the forecast for the Columbia (S.C.) area.
The two teams will play a doubleheader on Saturday (February 23) with the first game scheduled for 1:30 p.m. with the second game scheduled to start at 7 p.m. Both games are slated for nine innings. Sunday's series finale against the Gamecocks is scheduled for 1:30 p.m.
