Meghan Coyne Named Diver-of-the-Week

IRVING, Texas - East Carolina University sophomore diver Meghan Coyne has been selected Conference USA Diver-of-the-Week, the league announced Tuesday afternoon. Coyne qualified for the NCAA Zone Diving Championships with a first-place finish and a Minges Pool record score of 269.40 on the one-meter springboard against North Carolina. This is Coyne's second-career Diver-of-the-Week Award with her first coming on Nov. 26, 2008.
She also qualified for NCAA Zone Diving Championships last season as a freshman.
The ECU swimming and diving team will be back in the water this weekend with a pair of road dual meets. First they will travel to Boiling Springs, N.C. for a dual meet against Gardner-Webb on Friday, Oct. 16, before heading to Davidson on Saturday, Oct. 17.
