CHARLESTON, WVa. - Marshall officials announced Friday night that game two of the ECU-Marshall doubleheader that was suspended Friday night will resume Sunday at noon or sooner depending on weather.
ECU (19-4, 4-0 C-USA) and Marshall (10-13, 2-2 C-USA) were tied at one in the middle of the seventh inning with the game was suspended due to rain.
Officials from both parties will meet Saturday afternoon to assess the weather situation and determine when the second game will be completed with the third game to follow approximately 30 minutes at the conclusion of game two, weather permitting.
