GREENVILLE, N.C. - The East Carolina Athletics Ticket Office has introduced a less expensive option for fans wanting to see the Pirate soccer, volleyball, softball and women's basketball teams in action during the 2011-12 season.
For just $60, supporters can purchase a Pirate Pass which covers admission to those sports' home contests as well as select midweek men's basketball and baseball games. The option is also available to ECU faculty and staff for a price of $50.
Season tickets for the four sports are available for $30 each ($25 for faculty and staff), making the Pirate Pass a 50 percent discount off regular pricing. Individual tickets to these home contests are also on sale for $5 while youth ages 17 and under will receive free admission.
The soccer squad opens its season and the new ECU Soccer Stadium Aug. 19 at 7 p.m. against Southeastern Conference member South Carolina while the volleyball team begins its campaign Aug. 26 at Minges Coliseum by taking on in-state foe Gardner-Webb to begin the East Carolina Classic.
With the pass, all seating will be general admission. For more information, contact the ticket office at (252) 737-4500.
