Dunsmore And Jones Are Winners At Seahawk Diving Invitational

WILMINGTON, N.C. --- Senior Tyler Dunsmore captured first-place in the 1-meter and 3-meter diving events at the 2012 Seahawk Diving Invitational hosted by UNC Wilmington.
Dunsmore (292.10) finished 56.55 points ahead of freshman teammate Alex Clark (235.55) on the 1-meter and by 10.55 points in front of his other rookie teammate, Sean Piacente, in the 3-meter (293.3-282.75).
Clark earned fourth-place on the 3-meter board (209.15) and Piacente finished sixth on the 1-meter (200.75). Senior Kyle Comiskey claimed fourth-place on the 1-meter (214.35) and sixth on the 3-meter (186.15).
Junior Colleen Jones won the women's 3-meter competition with a score of 247.5 to narrowly defeat Richmond's Katherine Cook (246.10) by 1.4 points. ECU senior Kirstie Russell finished third with a score of 245.9.
Russell (243.95) and Jones (232.25) placed second and third in the 1-meter competition behind UNCW's Amanda MacCreery, who posted a score of 249.0.
ECU freshman Jillian Williams placed fifth in both events, while junior Taylor Edwards placed sixth and seventh in the 1 and 3-meter competitions, respectively.
