TEAM NOTES
?ECU won its season opener for the 13th consecutive season and its home opener for the 11th straight year.
?Its 97 points were the fifth-most points scored in a home opener and its 46-point margin of victory was the second largest in the first game of the season at Minges Coliseum.
?The Pirates are 7-0 under coach Jeff Lebo when scoring 90 points.
?Eleven of the 12 players on the 2013-14 roster scored at least two points.
?ECU extended its home winning streak to seven games dating back to last season and its overall winning streak to six games.
?The Pirates' bench outscored NC Wesleyan's bench 44-25.
?ECU scored over 90 points for the fourth time in its seven-game series history against N.C. Wesleyan.
?The Pirates' three freshmen combined for 27 points, while its two seniors combined for 24.
INDIVIDUAL NOTES
?Marshall Guilmette, Prince Williams and Michael Zangari made their first career starts.
?Akeem Richmond made his first start as a Pirate and first since career start since his sophomore season at Rhode Island against UMass (1-30-11).
?Junior Paris Roberts-Campbell scored a career-high 21, besting his previous high of 17 against Virginia-Wise. He scored 17 points in the first half alone.
?Richmond scored double figures for the first time since netting 10 games Savannah State in the first round of the 2013 CIT.
?Guilmette grabbed a career-high 11 rebounds. He matched his career-high with nine rebounds in the first half.
?Williams tied his career-high with five assists. He also had five assists in the win over SMU last season.
?Freshman Brandan Stith recorded a double-double in his ECU debut with 12 points and 10 rebounds.
?Senior Petar Torlak made a career-best three 3-point field goals, tying his career-high for points with nine. It was the first time he played in game since Jan. 2, 2013 against N.C. Wesleyan.
?Junior Francis Edosomwan scored a career-high six points, surpassing his career total of four points in 15 games played.
