Opening statement
"That was a good win for our team coming out of finals. When you have a long layoff like that you always worry about a team coming out and throwing something different at you and I thought we handled it pretty good the first half and got a great start to the second half, but we didn't finish the game like we like should've. I thought we got a little fatigued. Paris and Akeem can both shoot 50 percent from the 3 and that seems to be our recipe for having a decent night; they did tonight. I thought we did a nice job, had a nice comfortable lead just didn't finish it out the way we would like."
"I knew we played better in this game. Sometimes in those DII games, you get playing against guys who are a lot quicker. Each game stands alone; basketball is a funny thing. You just don't know what it's going to be day in and day out. I thought we prepared well, I thought we practiced well coming off finals. We didn't play well on Sunday against Mt. Olive so I knew we would come back with a little bit more juice which we did."

On team shooting
"It is very difficult to beat us when Paris Roberts (Campbell) and I are making shots. If we're missing shots it's pretty easy to beat us. We have to make shots every night and we really have to be consistent."
On playing well after a poor performance last game
"It felt really good. We love getting that bad taste out of our mouths, because we really didn't play well against Mount Olive. We had a whole week to get to the gym, to get up a lot of shots, and work hard each and every day. That's what we did, and I'm glad we come back and played really well tonight."
Junior Guard Paris Roberts-Campbell
On the game
"We defiantly needed a game like that. We wanted to come out and just be aggressive. Personally I wanted to be aggressive from start to finish. If I wasn't scoring, I wanted to get steals, rebounds, and look for other people. Just try to make it happen."
On playing with a big lead
"It's a different feeling. We had a really good start to this game; we just built off the momentum the whole game. We still need to work on finishing off games."
