TEAM NOTES
?East Carolina has opened the season 9-2 for the first time since the 2002-03 campaign.
?The Pirates improved to 3-0 all-time against North Carolina A&T and won its sixth consecutive game against a member of the MEAC.
?East Carolina used its third different starting lineup of the season as Antonio Robinson made his first career start in place of Prince Williams.
?The Pirates' posted their third-best best shooting percentage in half this season by connecting on 52.0 percent of its field goal attempts (13-25). It was the sixth time this year that they shot over 50 percent in a half.
?The Pirates finished the game shooting 50 percent from the field for the third time this season and second time in the last three games.
?ECU had two players score 20 points in a game for the first time this season and first since last year's regular season final against Marshall when Miguel Paul (22) and Maurice Kemp each posted 20-point games.
?The Pirates made more free throws than its opponent attempted for the seventh time this year.
PLAYER NOTES
?Senior Akeem Richmond surpassed the 1,200 point mark for his career. He finished the game with 21 points to bring his career scoring total to 1,211. It was his third 20-point game of the season.
?Junior Paris Roberts-Campbell posted his fourth 20-point game of the season, finishing with 21 points. He also tied his career highs for free throws made (8), assists (6) and steals (4).
?Sophomore Prince Williams scored double figures for the fifth time this season.
?Sophomore Michael Zangari scored double figures for the third time this season, finishing with 10 points. It was his first double digit scoring performance since scoring 13 against McNeese State (Nov. 25, 2013).
?Freshman Brandan Stith posted his seventh double-double digit rebounding game of the season, grabbing 10 rebounds. He played a season-high 33 minutes.
?Freshman Caleb White scored exactly 14 points in a game for the fourth time this season, tying a career-best.
