Colleen Jones Named C-USA Diver-Of-The-Week

IRVING, Texas - East Carolina senior Colleen Jones has been named the Conference USA Diver of the Week accolades with a career-best and NCAA Zone qualifying three-meter springboard performance.

Jones won the three-meter springboard with a career-best score of 297.83 in a tri-meet against Catawba and UMBC at Minges Natatorium Jan. 25. Her mark qualifies her for the NCAA Zone Championships in March. The sophomore also earned a fifth-place finish in the one-meter competition with a score of 291.97. This is the first Diver of the Week honor for Jones in her career.

Jones and her ECU teammates will return to action Saturday, Jan. 25, against William & Mary. The meet is scheduled for a 1 p.m. start at Minges Natatorium on the ECU Campus.
