TEAM NOTES
?East Carolina improved to 6-12 all-time against UAB. The Pirates won their third straight game overall against the Blazers and third straight at Bartow Arena. They also won for the fifth time in the last six games against UAB.
?The Pirates led at the half for the sixth time in seven Conference USA games.
?ECU shot 40.9-percent (9-22) behind the arc to improve to 10-1 this season when 40 percent or better from 3.
?The Pirates' 74 points were its most since scoring 79 at Campbell on Jan. 2, site of its previous victory.
?ECU didn't attempt a free throw in the first half. It was the first time this season that ECU didn't have at least two free throw attempts in a half.
?The Pirates improved to 5-2 against UAB under coach Jeff Lebo.
SENIOR GUARD Akeem Richmond
?Richmond became the first player in NCAA Division I to make 100 3-pointers this season. He currently leads the NCAA with 101 total made 3s. He is the only player in school history to make 100 3s in a season and he has done it twice (2012-13: 105, 2013-14: 101).
?Richmond also became just the third player in Conference USA history to make 100 3s in consecutive seasons, joining former Houston sharpshooter Robert McKiver (2006-08) and UAB standout Robert Vaden (2007-09) in the exclusive club.
?Richmond finished with 13 points bringing his four-year career scoring total to 1,410 points.
?Richmond grabbed a season-high six rebounds, matching his career-high of three previous games.
JUNIOR GUARD Paris Roberts-Campbell
?Paris Roberts-Campbell posted his sixth 20-point game of the season, finishing with a team-high 21 points; one shy of his career-best 22 against Norfolk State earlier this season. The Pirates are 5-1 this season in games which he's scored 20 or more.
?He led the team in scoring for the eighth time this season.
?Roberts-Campbell tied his season-high with eight rebounds. His career-high is nine set against Tulsa last season.
FRESHMAN FORWARD Caleb White
?Caleb White notched double figures for the sixth straight game, scoring 17 points. He sank a trio of 3-pointers for the fourth time this season.
