ECU Announces 2014-15 Pirate Cheerleaders

Congratulations to the members of the 2014-15 East Carolina University Cheerleading Squad, who were announced Tuesday by coach Susie Glynn.
Glynn guided candidates from through a recent, three-day tryout process. The skill level was very high, along with character and academic success. Glynn, her staff and a panel of judges consisting of alumni, athletic staff and cheer experts selected the following candidates for the team.
"We had so many gifted girls tryout this year and it was such a difficult process," Glynn said. "This year's tryout class was by far the most talented and skilled group I have seen in my 12 seasons coaching the ECU Cheerleaders The 2014-15 squad is not only talented, but they have remarkable character. It's going to be an amazing team and I can't wait to get started."
These young men and women will be representing the Pirates on game day and in the community throughout the year.
