GREENVILLE, N.C. - In front of what is expected to be a record-breaking crowd, the East Carolina women's basketball team will host its final non-conference home game against Presbyterian on Friday, Nov. 19 at Williams Arena in Minges Coliseum. Opening tip-off is scheduled for 11:30 a.m.
LAST TIME OUT
Five Pirates reached double-figure scoring, led by Marina Laramie's game-high 24 points as ECU won its fourth-straight home opener, 87-58, over Alcorn State on Tuesday night. Laramie finished the night shooting 10-for-15 overall, 3-for-4 from three-point range and chipped in three assists, while her 10 field goals made matched her career-high. Jada Payne produced her second double-double of the season and 13th of her career with 12 points, 11 rebounds and five assists, while Fanni Csutoras scored 15 points with six rebounds, four assists and three steals off the bench. Alex Frazier and Gabrielle Holston contributed 11 points each, as Holston made all five field goal attempts.
ALL-TIME VERSUS PRESBYTERIAN
The Pirates lead the Blue Hose, 3-0, in the all-time series with an average victory margin of 33.7 points per game. ECU owns a 2-0 mark at home, with the last meeting coming Nov. 21, 2008 in Minges where the puple and gold cruised to a 61-28 victory.
SCOUTING THE BLUE HOSE
Presbyterian (1-2) enters Friday's matchup following a 95-56 home victory over Warren Wilson College on Wednesday night after dropping road tilts at Virginia Tech (58-44) on Nov. 13 and Kennesaw State (49-47) on Nov. 15. The Blue Hose is led by Cortney Storey's team-best 11.7 points and four assists per game, while Virola Salina is averaging 11 points and 6.7 rebounds per contest.
ANOTHER MACY MILESTONE MOUNTING
Head Coach Heather Macy is just three wins away from 100 with the Pirates, which includes a 28-8 record in the month of November and a 26-7 mark in non-conference matchups during her tenure. She is just eight wins behind Cathy Andruzzi (105) for the fourth-most and 13 behind Catherine Bolton (110) for the third-most by a coach in ECU history.
THIRTY BUCKETS
East Carolina made 30 or more field goals in back-to-back games Nov. 14 at Texas A&M-Corpus Christi (33) and Nov. 17 against Alcorn State (32), marking the 22nd and 23rd times the Pirates have accomplished the feat under sixth-year head coach Heather Macy.

ECU recorded more than 20 assists in consecutive games Nov. 14 at Texas A&M-Corpus Christi (22) and Nov. 17 against Alcorn State (23). The Pirates broke the 20-assist threshold just four times in 2014-15, but have done so in two of their first three contests this season.

The Pirates held Alcorn State 0-for-8 from beyond the 3-point line on Nov. 17, marking the first time an opponent failed to make a three in a game since Dec. 9, 2014 last season at Loyola (Md.), where the Greyhounds shot 0-for-12 from deep.
AMERICAN CONFERENCE HONOR ROLL
Jada Payne was named to the American Athletic Conference Weekly Honor Roll after averaging 23.5 points, 8.5 rebounds, five assists and 3.5 steals on 68-percent shooting. She posted a double-double with 27 points and 10 rebounds against UTRGV, before adding 20 points, seven rebounds and matched her career-high with seven assists in just 25 minutes at Texas A&M Corpus Christi.
PIRATES TO FACE FIVE TOP 25 TEAMS
East Carolina will have its work cut out in 2015-16 with five opponents ranked in the Associated Press Preseason Top 25 Poll. The docket comprises seven total games, including a pair regular-season tilts with conference foes UConn (No. 1) and USF (No. 20), respectively, as well as No. 2 South Carolina, No. 19 Northwestern and No. 25 Chattanooga.
UNDAUNTED BY THE STRENGTH OF SCHEDULE
Overall, the Pirates will play 15 of their 30 regular-season games against 11 different opponents that received postseason invitations in 2014-15. Seven earned NCAA Tournament bids (Chattanooga, Northwestern, Ohio, South Carolina, UConn, USF and Tulane), including two Final Four participants, while four competed in the WNIT (Creighton, Eastern Washington, Temple, Tulsa).

Seniors Jada Payne and I'Tiana Taylor received preseason All-American Athletic Conference Second Team honors, joining UConn and USF as the only teams with multiple selections.Payne received a first team nod in 2014-15, Taylor was tabbed to the second team and named the league's Newcomer-of-the-Year. Payne became just the third player in program history to earn first team recognition multiple times, joining Sarah Gray (1989-90) and Tonya Hargrove (1990-92).
ECU PICKED FOURTH IN AAC PRESEASON POLL
The Pirates were picked to finish fourth in the American Athletic Conference in 2015-16, according to a poll of the league's heade coaches. ECU accumulated 75 points, just one behind Temple for third place.
