Rokas Cepulis Named American Male Swimmer-Of-The-Week

PROVIDENCE, R.I. - East Carolina senior Rokas Cepulis received the final American Athletic Conference Male Swimmer of the Week award for the 2014-15 season league officials announced Tuesday.
Cepulis was chosen as the weekly recipient after he won three events and set two facility records in the Pirates' dual meet against Old Dominion. Cepulis took the 100-yard breaststroke in 55.72 seconds, won the 200 breaststroke in 2:01.34 and captured the 200 individual medley in 1:50.96. The times in the 200 breaststroke and the 200 individual medley were the fast times in those events at William & Mary's Street Recreation Center.
Cepulis and the entire ECU men's and women's swimming and diving teams will return to competition at the American Athletic Conference Championships in Greensboro, Feb. 18-21, at the Greensboro Aquatics Center.
