
David Lucroy Selected In 20th Round By Milwaukee Brewers

GREENVILLE, N.C. -East Carolina redshirt junior David Lucroy was selected in the 20th round by the Milwaukee Brewers Wednesday afternoon during the third day of the 2015 Major League Baseball First-Year Player Draft.
Lucroy, a 2013 Collegiate Baseball Freshman All-America, was taken with the 601st overall pick and is the third Pirate selected in this year's draft behind Reid Love (10th RD/Baltimore Orioles) and Luke Lowery (14th RD/Arizona Diamondbacks). With Love's selection on Tuesday, East Carolina has had at least one player taken in the last 19 MLB Draft's dating back to 1997.
Also selected in the MLB Draft were a pair of ECU Commitment's in Isaiah White (Miami Marlins, RD 3, pick 85) and Dwanya Williams-Sutton (Cincinnati Reds, RD 21, pick 775), both from Greenfield High School in Wilson, N.C.
