Craven And Abert Named November Student-Athletes Of The Month

GREENVILLE, N.C. – Seniors Erle Craven and Marion Abert of the swimming and diving program have been selected the male and female Student-Athletes of the Month following an outstanding November athletically.

Craven was a finalist in both the 100 and 200 breaststroke at the Georgia Tech Invitational and made the NCAA "B" Cut in both events. He is currently ranked 28th nationally in the 100 breaststroke and 31st in the 200 breaststroke.

Abert set a new varsity program record in the 500 freestyle and is ranked 45th nationally in the event. She was a finalist in both the 200 and 500 freestyle events at the Georgia Tech Invitational and made the NCAA "B" Cut in both disciplines.

The swimming and diving program is back in action Jan. 14 when the men and women host Old Dominion inside the Minges Natatorium at 1 p.m.
